Our Reception
Reception is a very busy area of the practice. Our receptionists and nurses on duty have to work hard answering the phones, making appointments, greeting visitors, keeping the vets to their schedules and keeping everyone happy and organised.

We have a variety of products and pet foods on sale as well as a range of informative leaflets. Ask the staff on duty if you have any questions - they'll be happy to help.
Consulting
When you come with your pet you will see a vet in one of our consulting rooms. You may have to come in for a vaccination, a check-up or because your pet has developed a problem.

Whatever the reason, feel free to ask the vet about any aspect of your pets well being.
Dispensary
This is where we store many of the medications which we need to treat veterinary conditions.

Medications come as tablets, capsules, liquids, powders, pastes, ointments and injections. We have hundreds of different medicines in our dispensary.
Laboratory

Our own on-site laboratory ensures fast and efficient analysis of blood samples including biochemistry, electrolytes and haematology. We can also examine urine, smears, faeces, skin scapes and look for internal and external parasites.
What we cannot examine ourselves we send to specialist veterinary laboratories and results are reported very quickly.
Preparation
The preparation or 'prep room' is the hub of the practice as many procedures are carried out on patients or start off there.

Preparation for surgery, intravenous drips, radiography, blood sampling, bandaging, examination and medication are all carried out there.
Radiography and Ultrasonograhy
We have a dedicated x ray and ultrasonography room. X rays allow us to look at bones but also many soft tissues in the body.

Ultrasound allows us to look at many of the soft tissue structures of the body especially within the abdomen such as the liver, spleen and bladder.
Dentistry
We are fully equipped with ultrasonic scalers, air drills and polishers. We also have a dental x ray machine. Dental problems are very common in all pets and can be very painful as well as affecting other systems such as the heart and kidneys.
Theatre
We have two fully equipped operating theatres.

Wards
We have separate dog and cat wards for our patient's comfort including five large walk in dog kennels. We also have separate isolation facilities so that pets with infectious diseases can be nursed away from other patients.
